Nice look, thanks ! Hm, however I wonder where I could actually get a high res picture of the new Kubuntu feisty logo, or in the SVG format, I keep searching but can't find... Do you perhaps know ?

Hi there, I'm using the Nvidia-drivers, which kind of "blows up" the fontsize! I would like to make it smaller... Where do I adjust this? - I've looked in the XML-file, and I can't see where... Maybe you could define such things in a configuration-part in the top of the file? (If that's possible in XML...)
Hi. The font size is defined in sections like this. <normal color="#222222" font="Sans Serif 11" /> I didnt define a Fontsize for the Userlist so far.
I'm using Kubuntu Feisty and I perfectly installed your theme. But when I login it doesn't display the user list: there is a white empty space instead of the expected user list. :( I checked in kcontrol the list of hidden users (such us root): my user is not hidden. So how can I do? Thanks you in advance, Fabio
Dis you set an Image for your User? In Kcontroll there is an Option for "show list" is it checked?
Of course! I set it but nothing changes...
Good looking theme. I'm using it right now. However, your instructions are confusing. kdmtheme is fully capable of installing the tar-ball you provide: Simply start kdmtheme (e.g. Alt+F2 -> kcmshell kdmtheme), change to "Administrator Mode", and choose "Install New Theme". Done.
and it did not overwrite existing skin?
nope. yours is named differently, which ensures it won't overwrite an existing theme ...
The theme would not install, I had to go and rename the folders. Had to rename your them folder to kubuntu, and the kubuntu to kbuntu-back. Also your instructions are a bit off. Should include instructions for the apt-get command for installing the theme manager, as well as how to get to the theme manager user sudo kcontrol. 5 minutes of google fixed this. I had to fix my roommates computer (and mine), after we followed poorly written instructions. The theme is well done.
thats strange. with this methode you should be able easily select theme when you you use the kdm theme manager in administrator mode. do you both really use feisty? for me and 2 of my friends this method works well
Since MEPIS is based on Ubuntu, is it possible to install this in MEPIS as well? The reason I ask is I recently upgraded to MEPIS 6.5 from 6.0. 6.0 had a list of installed users on it, whereas 6.5 requires that you know your user ID (and obviously your password as well) in order to log in, and I'd prefer to have the list again if possible. Fred
maybe you just give it a try. Only problem i see is the background image. there must exist a wallpaper in: /usr/share/wallpapers/kubuntu-wallpaper.png but you can change this by editing 'kubuntu-feisty-list.xml' line 5
I know an easier way to install KDM themes. If you use *ubuntu just follow this: open a terminal and type kdesu kcontrol than write down your password and the KDE control with root access will appear. The easy to use KDM installer will help you for sure. Davide
I didn't test it in feisty yet. But in all releases <= Edgy this method replaces and overwrite the default Kubuntu KDM theme.
