I love it very much. Good work. Unfortunately I have a different backgrond consistent from boot to desktop on my Kubuntu. I edited the file and replaced the background with mine and added it manually to kdm. It works fine until I do a logout (or ctl+alt+backspace) and log back in again (changing from kde4 to kde3). When I log out it "takes" a part of the desktop (kde4 pr kde3) with it and projects into the kdm theme. Any ideas would be helpfull, thankx.

As usual "add new theme" does not work *sigh*

Hey, I am not very familiar with installing, which method do you use? I cannot find a ktm file?
First you need to have the KDM Theme Manager installed. Download the theme file (which is a .tar.gz file), then open your KDE Control Center, and go to System Administration -> KDM Theme Manager. Click Administrator Mode, enter root Password. Then click Install new theme, and choose the downloaded .tar.gz file. This should work (at least it works on my two computers). Hope this helps !
Ah and here I was foolishly thinking it was the theme manager under appearance and themes in the control centre that I was looking for but I actually have to install a new theme manager (kdmtheme if using apt) and it appears under system administration... totally logical, *grumble, twisted developers grumble grumble* :) Thanks!
I really like this. Can you also release it as a wallpaper to complete the look?
Thank you all for your comments [this is my very first theme -- I didn't expect such a success!]. I just uploaded wallpaper versions of the two themes. Enjoy!
Easily one of the nicest kdm themes I've seen. Nice work.
Fantastic colors! Thx for this :)
