Description: I'm hoping to go to Málaga for the aKademy, and since it will happen in august I'll sure enjoy the good weather and the fine beaches of Costa del Sol.
For this reason I thinked to a beach chair as logo for this aKademy edition.
Note1: I've prepared 3 different versions, but didn't want to overload the contest with too 3 similar entries, so please check all 3 screenshot.Last changelog:
1.1 New element position suggested by Janet Theobroma. Added a print version with a simplified version of the beach chair logo.
1.0 Fixed minor thing on the logo and added transparent PNG wallpaper.
well, the beach chair is the core of this design, removing it and putting something else is like doing another entry (but the contest is already closed).
It was asked to have and idea, possible something related to the location, and to make a logo, putting a gear or a Kde logo is not really a new logo, it's just the easiest thing to do.
I've registered to kde-look just to say
this is the best logo so far, great idea, great design and great colours, and it will be a very nice t-shirt.
Right now this is the only logo that deserve to win. well done Dave.

The correct spanish text is "Congreso de Desarrolladores y Usuarios de KDE" :D.
I think it's a bit to much holiday. More kde would be nice. Maybe a gear instead of the beach chair.

The first image looks great! I don't think the horizontal bar is too well placed in the second image, but overall it's still a good design.
