Description: The original Vista-Look is back in a new Version. I have changed one Icon and even added a lot of icons. Have a look at it. As suggestion for Metacity-themes, you can use the Turquoise_Nights Metacity-theme or the Mista-theme or even the SiliconVista-Metacity-theme. As gtk-theme, I would suggest the AeroLiNsta-gtk for receiving a more original look.
Then I have made a blue Version available for more choice.
I also will bring up the Ultimate-Version (as promised and a Glass-look).
For now, have fun with my two themes and enjoy them.
Hi, some of the icons in your theme are just broken symlinks (to your pc's folders)... could you please check it and upgrade the theme? I really like this theme as well as Vista blue! Ciao!!
hi arizlo,
these Icons are circulating everywhere in the Internet for free. Just go to Googles and enter the search-word: blue Vista Icon Packs. Then you will find so many downloadable Icon-Packs with the true blue Vista Icons, so that everybody can have them for free. Even Linux-users. So: if my theme would be illegal, the these users (and there are even many users who offer this at deviantart), would also have to take down there themes. But they are also with no allowence from Microsoft. And even the user juanjesus would have tot take down his theme Win2-7.
So: my theme is really not illegal.
Greetings

Hi Dear,
these Icons are legal. You can find them here in the theme "Darklinux 1.0.
The other ones I found in ttp://iconspedia.com and http://iconfinder
.com
Ther, they only offer Icons, that are free of charge. I take care, that I only collect Icons, where I do not break any law. So you can download it without being in sorrow, that there could be any claim on you.
For more information, go to http://google.de and enter the searchwords: blue Vista Icon Packs. Then you will also find them there without any cahrge and legal claims.
And then you can also finde the Windows7 Icons here. They are published by Juandejesus. But what he offers, is a terible mixture of ubuntu-icons and Windows7.-Icons. So I plan to bring up also the correct Windows7-Look and the Vista Ultimate-Look.
Greetings

No, they aren't: http://www.microsoft.com/About/Legal/EN/US/IntellectualProperty/Permissions/Default.aspx#EEE You had better remove this rip-off.
As long as they're not the actual icons from Windows,it's fine. If you design such icons from scratch, it's perfectly legal.
Did Microsoft allow you to distribute Vista icons and relicense them under the GPL?
nice looks very originaly :) but the screenshots are not the best ...
