how do i install this?
Really nice !
Thanks for excellent icons, also cheers to vaughn for the install advice.
these are the coolest firefox icons i have ever seen, hands down
Is it illegal to change your firefox icon?
How would I get that firefox icon to my computer as in replacing the old Firefox icon with the new one.
I can confirm that these images are GPL. The author released the original under a noncommercial license on one site but released it under the GPL in another. I know this because I uploaded it to Wikipedia and had to research its licensing before doing so (WP doesn't allow noncommercial images on userpages).
freak'n sweet icons man, every time i look at them i rejoice ;)
beautiful work mate!!!
when i try to copy the new firefox.png with the old one, it says i don't have permissions, which i don't understand since i'm the owner and the only one using this account. when i click properties and the permissions tab, it says the owner is "root". Can anyone help?
go to the terminal and type sudo nautilus and i have been using the first one of those icons as an avatar for some sites for a while but i dont remember where i found it. i love the other colors
Okay i pasted it in that folder now how to sue it in FF
How does one go about installing this theme? Thanks.
Never mind. I figured it out. For other noobs... You'll need to copy the icon you want to use to usr/share/pixmaps. Rename your old firefox icon (firefox.old?). Rename your new icon firefox.png. You'll need to do this as root.
Cool icon!! Really like it!
hey these icons are great. are there any icons for thunderbird, too?
Hi, How do I add these icons? I know with other icon *.bz2 file I just import them into the theme manager, but that does work for these. Thanks.
I belive the author of the icon(s) was: http://www.jairoboudewyn.com/ Side note: Also, originally packaged with the Optimized Mozilla Firefox Build for Linux..."Swiftfox" http://www.getswiftfox.com/ ...but then again.. I'm not sure and too lazy to check.
maybe the author is "MrMagid" but im not sure.. here is a link to his blog http://magid.blogsome.com/2005/09/
have searched the web for "firefox icons" and found only the preview pic, not the icons, after a long search session, have found it finaly on www.customize.ru.without any detail by the author ;)
Very nice icons, but find more about the author, so he can enjoy the credit ;)
