glassyglaze thanks for trying but that didn't work, only the non-playing icon is showed but when i start playing something it goes back to the original white non-playing icon.
glassyglaze maybe i could get mine to work propely if i use the same theme as you.
1. upload the theme you are using
2. what os?
3. then i'll just follow the steps you mentioned above if they are the same, if not then post what i need to do.
Has anyone managed to get this working on the themes i mentioned above or using the default themes on ubuntu 7.10/fedora 8.
I made this icon set before the non-playing icon feaature was added, I don't know how to make it work.
At the moment I use Ubuntu with the default Tango icon set and I don't use my own icon.
I can't give you more help, sorry. :(
Hi i really like this icon set its very nice, thanks.
Assuming you have these icon sets on ubuntu 7.10 and fedora 8 should would you install them for the following icon themes (i am sure it matters).
http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Dropline+Neu%21?content=38835
http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Gi%C3%B8n?content=36944
and how would you install this on the default themes provided by ubuntu and fedora.
again thanks
It's simple:
- take my icon rhythmbox.svg and put it in Neu/scalable/apps/
- take my icon rhythmbox_48x48.png, name it rhythmbox.png and put it in Neu/48x48/apps/
- and so on for 32x32, 24x24... etc.
although... could you also make a version without the green soundwaves? I have to admit I'm kinda minimalist and this icon would be great on my desktop without the waves
could it be possible? :)

I forgot something... :P Installed themes are located in: $your_home/.icons/ Default themes are in: /usr/share/icons/
finally, i love this icon. now i can replace that ugly ipod icon that nuoveXT uses
It's nice!
Good work but we have to admit that the Rhythmbox team have made a great facelift to their player in the most recent version.
But the app icon still lame.
Bravo. Very good job.
