Description: This package contains the files needed to install a native version of the RuneScape Official client that was released as open source originally for m$ w1nd0wz.
This client is completely independent of browser plugins and their failures, as many linux users have broken icedtea java plugins, this bypasses that issue.
The Universal tar.bz2 can be installed on any distribution simply by extracting it and moving it to the "/" directory, the file structure is already made so that it will merge with your "/usr/" directory. THIS PACKAGE DOES NOT HANDLE DEPENDANCIES, YOU MUST INSTALL "openjdk-6-jre" BEFORE THIS PACKAGE WILL FUNCTION PROPERLY.
The .deb file can be installed through your favorite package manager or through the terminal at your desire.
Both packages will create all necessary debian menu entries and place package files in their correct locations.
For manual uninstall of the universal package, please remove these files/directories: /usr/share/applications/RuneScape Client.desktop /usr/share/runescape-client
