Description: These profiles are targeted at Sony Ericsson mobile phones which support bluetooth remote control function and come with a resolution of 240x320. All profiles have been tested on my Sony Ericsson K800i.
The package contains profiles to control
- rhythmbox - system - totem - tvtime - xbmc
To use these you will need a Sony Ericsson mobile phone capable of bluetooth remote control service and a working bluez installation ( tested on Gentoo & Ubuntu 8.10 ). Send the profiles to the phone and start the remote control service on the phone.
For more information on how to use these profiles and how to setup advanced features like launching the apps please visit the project page :

This is neither artwork nor software so I put it here since the graphic is the hardest part I did for it. The full layered GIMP image is available on my homepage as well in case you want to create your own profiles using my theme :

Sorry if this got advertised on the start page again - did some text corrections and definitively disabled the Announce button.Last changelog:
I am very happy with this profile. Although there doesn't seem to be a way to use the mouse vertically with my w300i. The default profile that came with the phone has this functionality but does not include some of the nicer features that this one has. Looking forward to seeing more of your work.
The profile has some bugs. I already did several other profiles too ( system, rhythmbox, xbmc ), but before posting I will fix them up. Will post them tomorrow including a manual to integrate them with metacity to be able to launch the apps.
Finally I finished it.
The problem that you cant control the mouse is a result of the fact that I need all buttons to be able to assign all important keys needed in tvtime. The package is based on the idea that you launch the respective profile for a certain app. Using tvtime you use that profile and wont need to control your mouse. If you want to control the mouse ( and generic system functions ) you switch over to the system profile.
Let me know if there are things I can improve...
