Description:
This is a simple gnome main menu image icon for your ubuntu!

I don't like the standard one, so i decided to built this!

If you want use it open gconf-editor, go to apps->panel->objects and find the object that has:
object_type: menu-object
so here you could enter the path of the image you would like to use as menu button. Dont forget to check the "use custom icon" box...

have fun

It's not a good idea, imho. I have tried Suse gnome menu in my Ubuntu and rolled back to the old one, because it provides a simplier and clearer method of the essential things, like choosing an application or browsing file system. With traditional Apps-Places-Prefs menu it takes one step less than with Suse-style menu and much faster, because of bad placing of elements in Suse menu.
