penguin. Penguin is a nice animal to put in the spash, but in the lower right corner, a little big. Maybe a cameleon would be the animal, the debian symbol o the red hat guy. What about make some versions, one each with his logo?

I just tested the splash screen again. I see the problem.
For those who care it is a problem of having a semi-transparent grey bar on the bottom. I'll upload version 0.2 with a solid grey bar soon.

Yes it is a bit on the empty side. I thought about adding some graphics to it. Maybe a Red Hat for RHL users, or the Debian swirl for us Debianites, and I still may. In general I think it is best that it focuses on KDE not on the kernel.
I am always open to listening to suggestions people have.

There seems to be a transparency problem with the text. All text shows through and the current text is slightly stronger.
I am not quite sure I understand. Would it be possible to show me a screenshot of what you mean?
