Description: My first attempt at a splash screen for KDE. The icons are from the slick and KDE default sets. The rest I did myself. The image is a photo I took of my wife. I used GIMP and Photoshop. Comments are, of course, appreciated.

Added two new raised-effect versions of original flat splash screen. All three still have flashing icon support. The raised-effect ones are probably going to work best on a dark background (lack of ability on my part).
The KDE logo was a copy-paste job from KDE moon (http://kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=19303)
All three are included in the download. As always, comments are appreciated.
I am currently working on rounding the corners of splash_top and splash_bottom so they look better on light backgrounds.
Thanks for the comment. The hand is hers and is unchanged from the photograph, but it can appear to be an odd perspective, huh? The modesty is hers, as well. Sorry, but what can I say? It is up to her. I consider myself lucky, though. :)

Thanks. I'm also fishing for suggestions on modifying it. I'm thinking something along the lines of giving the whole image a raised look. Thoughts? Ideas? Leave well enough alone?
Thank you for the comment. I don't mind if hundreds look (they do whenever we go places anyway...). It's a nice picture that exposes less than if she were wearing a bikini. So, sure....why not.

I also opt for no hand on her breast. And the hand is too small, its rather a child's hand than a woman's hand.
after another look: well, maybe I am wrong. Did not see that only the fingers are visible. Nice splash screen anyways :-)
