I really like it, but i would really be better to remove the "KDE" and the "LinuxOS". Or maybe you could make diffrent Versions for each Distribution like Mandrake or RedHat, and one Version for everyone without the "LinuxOS" and the "KDE".
The kernel handles all the device drivers, system calls, interaction between the human and the hardware, etc. In short, the kernel operates the system.
The kernel is the OS. Everything else is just applications ;)
Yeah, it would be wrong to call a linux distribution "Linux", but all that KDE/X11/GNU/Linux crap gets on my nerves too. I just say I use Slackware and let people figure it out for themselves :)

id suggest to remove the LinuxOS from the splash screen, as there is no "LinuxOS". im not a GNU freak, but linux really is only the kernel.
