Description: My first remake of existing splash screen. (don't remember the author, I'll be glad if you excuse me for that..) I changed fonts and added some logos.Last changelog:
Hi !
I am not a native english speaker, so I can tell with assurance if I am right : there seems to be some mistakes in the preview you show : "peripherials" and "setting system services" instead of "setting up" or "starting" ...
I am not sure which one is good...
Only my 0.02
Nice splash indeed...But i would know if u plan to make it bigger...like 1280 x 1024! :-)
BTW...u should put icon in better way;example: "Loading peripherials" should show a Device instead of a Internet icon.
Anyway,thanx for your work!
Nice to see someone took my Splash screen to change it.
I'm thinking of re-releasing mine (http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=7865) with bigger fonts and more contrast on the background KDE font since these items are hard to see on CRTs.
Hm.. that would be great because I'm having a lot of troubles with gimp and adding/using fonts. Indeed it really looks bad on CRTs. I promise as soon as you release new version I will prepare some remakes. :)
