I came to Arch after long time of distro hoping and trying AND after getting literally *sick* of Ubuntu glitches - I used it for about 1 year and half. Now I have sufficient experience to choose my distro carefully I'm a very happy Arch user, best distro on Earth and surroundings, period. Thank you Ubuntu for so much headaches and good bye baby. But the really weird thing is I never like Human Theme until I saw your work... a very good one! Now I'm running Arch+KDE4 I feel little nostalgy about Human+GNOME - but not you, Ubuntu!!
hmm... nice, but... bizarre :) I thought that Arch-users don't like such "mega-user-friendly" distros ;) all in all - I like your work. I don't liku Ubuntu, but I like its look&feel. Nice work!
Thanks! Well, most Arch users (including me) don't like ubuntu because it's to slow and heavy, with tons of unnecessary packages and stuff. But i like ubuntu default theme. Ubuntu is very good for non-expert users that just like to get their work done. How about get the best of both worlds: speed from arch and the feeling of Ubuntu. That's why i made this Splash.
I have gnome-human based theme on my Arch too, so I agree with you :) But what do you think about rounded corners? I thing that would be better. And I'm waiting for next 'human eyecandies' :)
Unfortunately i think that the default KDE Splash screen engine doesn't support transparency (i have not tried the moodin engine), so i can't make round corners (please, someone correct me if i'm wrong). As for the other 'human eyecandies', check out my other works :) I'm currently working on a green human icon theme for KDE.
