I try going to the link for install instructions and its a dead link. Could you include it in the package like you did before with the old version? If you don't have any webspace or something then I would be more then happy to host it or the package itself for this.
I´m going to fix the link! By the way: INSTALL and README are in the archive, too.
I have done what INSTALL archive says and I haven't got progress bar. How to put it? P.S: Lilo vga=791
In the installation instructions the following command is to be issued: "splash -s -f /etc/bootsplash/themes/slack_gray/config/bootsplash-1024x768.cfg > /boot/initrd" I don't use and initial ram disk so in my case do I issue the command as: splash -s -f /etc/bootsplash/themes/slack_gray/config/bootsplash-1024x768.cfg > /boot/ ???
In my opinion you have to use an initial ram disk. At least I do not know how to realize it without it. The bootsplash picture is stored in /boot/initrd.
Thank you for updating them! It's a very nice set!
I like it very much, and I switched immediatly to it. Thx
I really like this. I have it installed on my Slack box. It's clean, simple, and looks very professional.
