Description: These categories for Docky are as simple as they are beautiful! It's just a bunch of images, as Docky does not support any kind of graphical divider. Just put the images into a folder where they don't bother you and drag them to the right position on your dock.
If you have ideas for further categories, write a comment and I will try to add them.
Icon Theme is Feanza.
[Update] I noticed shadows/highlights to be inconsistent, I will change that ASAP in 1.2.Last changelog:
1.1: - Added two new categories, "System" and "Places" - Added a light version - Added a svg-version
Thanks, look's very nice.
I am missing other category.
Perfect would give us the gimp project and tell us what font you used so we can draw what we need.
Other problem is that the image remains clickable.. no way to make it unclickable?
Hi, I am glad you like it. These images are created with Inkscape, so just download it via software-center and open the svg-icons for editing them.
And no, afaik there is no way to make them unclickable.
Thanks for your work! What about adding a category for opened programs that have no starter in the docky. I usually have a hard time spotting them hiding with the other icons to the right. The hard thing to decide is what to call the category. Perhaps just "started", or "opened" or "other". Well, give it a thought.

It's Nimbus Sans Bold Condensed, shipped with Ubuntu by default.
A white version is a good idea, too. As soon as I get home, I will add new categories and create a white version.
I have a problem. the files I arratrar appear as thumbnails, I only see an icon

This is a really cool idea... In the next release you can put some other categories like SYSTEM, or PLACES ... And a white version too... Anyway the idea is awesome

And I forgot. Please add a "tools"- category, I miss that one.
