I've never changed the menu icon before, can you tell me how to use this? It's really cool, but I can't figure it out. Thanks!
this is really awesome lookng. would it be possible to make more of these in different colors like green, orange, red, etc..
You can do this easily yourself, just open it with gimp, go to tools--->Hue/Saturation, and slide it until it becomes the color you want.
You cannot do that with the button, only the panel. When doing it with the button the ubuntu logo also changes color. Could you publish the Gimp file (xcf)?
Sorry about that, seems my second upload didn't go through (I probably hit reset). Problem fixed now.
As for the panel, it is designed for 25 pixels, anything bigger than that will stack it it and anything smaller will cut off the bottom.
Hello there. You seem to do not care about your licence, that's ok. But please care about the package and the file you provide. I do not see any right file into the archive provided. Only two files are present: screene.png panel3.png The first is a screenshot of the start button, the second one should be the panel background but anyway it does not render right on my panel (this is probably a bug in the theme I am using so you should not take care of this one). Could you provide at least the original png image of the button so we can use it and see if it's good. Have a nice day.
