Installation: 1. Copy 'intro.png' and 'about.png' in '/usr/lib/libreoffice/program' replace original file 2. Modify the sofficerc found in '/etc/libreoffice' :
10This is quite neat - bumped into this by complete chance. Thanks for making it - it solves the problem of such an eyesore of splash for an otherwise excellent office software suite!
Clean & modern - beautiful!
I noticed you added this 8 years ago, and have continued to update it; do you know if any major updates to libreoffice will 'break' this tweak? Or will the files stay intact without having to go in and re-doing the changes after a software update?
LOL! Yeah it works - I had to diverge from your original instructions in order to get the "about" splash to work - this included converting one of the attached png files over to svg with slight quality sloss - but it works well.
I guess I'll see what happens whenever updates roll along for it.
Well -- I have an answer. Didn't take all that much at all for an update to push through! When it did, the files were re-set back to the old ugly logos. Luckily it takes less than sixty seconds to go in to the proper directory and re-paste the custom files. (In case anyone is curious)
Hi. This is how it looks with my libreoffice 5.1.6.2
[Bootstrap]
HideEula=1
Logo=1
NativeProgress=false
ProgressBarColor=222,72,20
ProgressFrameColor=102,102,102
ProgressPosition=35,153
ProgressSize=444,8
ProgressTextBaseline=145
ProgressTextColor=255,255,255
Es sensacional, estoy tratando de implementar libreoffice y bueno mis compañeros tiene un fuerte lazo con office y se ponen nencios...!
Pero otros por lo contrario lo aceptan como si nada y trabajan y desarrollan su trabajo sin problemas.
Gracias..!
Excuse me again, I'm tired and do not think clearly at this hours...Bye and thank you
Excuse me: what is this term? I have entered at the directory and do not find anything similar. If you are so kind of explaining it to me, please...

Actually there is no updates since it was created. And I thought it doesn't work with modern LibreOffice ;)

I had some fails with the /etc/libreoffice/sofficerc, could you give me the orginal code to repair that file?
