I need to run this as root (unless you know a better way) to display my wifi connection.
I'm running a broadcom wifi card, I already changed wlan0 to eth1. But it will not display unless I run Conky as root.
How would I apply root privileges to a start up process and not need a password?
any ideas?

Very cool but the net widget is only work on wireless network, It would ever better if make it work for wired network
the background doesnt load for me, anyone else having this problem?
