Please could you tell me how to create a .so file !
I untar the file, opened it in a terminal and type $ make ... and it said : circular dependance ubuntu 1440.900.png < ubuntu 1440.900.png.c abandonned ..and it created a file ubuntu_1400_900.png.c.o unusable ( it did the same with the other resolutions !!).
I have to specify that libusplash-dev is already installed!
What's wrong?

I just tested the usplash on my laptop and its super nice, simple and right to the point. Good job man... Keep on doing that.
