Well i didn't download it yet, but i guess the animation is like the other splash screens that the bottom symbols blink or something like that.
But when I saw the screenshot, I imagined the upper icons flying through the k-gear ... THIS would be a great splash screen!
How about removing the 3.3 from the design so that you splash wont expire when 3.4 rolls around. The design is great, but adding the 3.3 gives it a limited period of usability.
Excellent work, but two objections, if I may: first, maybe you shuld remove icons from the main image, or put only one, but bigger, in order to preserve graphical balance (Konqui for example, but in Krystal manner), and second, icons on the flash-bar should definitely be bigger, IMHO. greetz

Really like this one. I don't think the icons should be bigger or anything. I'll try it as soon as I have time to compile 3.3...

When I have SVG changing version is not a big problem :D
