I like it a lot and if you like slackware, your chance of liking it too is not the worst

So if you are looking for a nice LiLo splash screen for your slackware linux, have a closer look at it.
If you are going to modify it, I would be glad to receive an eMail from you with the modified picture attached.
If you want it to work properly, just save it and extract it to /boot/lilo.bmp (just an example, any other location should be as good as this) and add the following lines to your /etc/lilo.conf: (but please make a backup before editing this file!)
bitmap = /boot/lilo.bmp
bmp-colors = 0,255,127,255,0,0
bmp-table = 120p,170p,1,15,17
bmp-timer = 255p,431p,255,0,0
After that just run a "/sbin/lilo" as root and it should be done. If you get any errors, restore the file from your backup and ask an advanced linux user for help if you have no idea what could be wrong...
ENJOY!

I thank you for this, I am so happy to get rid of that crappy looking red box. I love seeing this when i turn on my computer. Thanks again.
Hey, this is an absolutely great looking splash. However in your instructions you need to tell people to comment out: message = /boot/boot_message.txt else there is a clash. Otherwise, excellent!
looks really good!
Good jobs My Slack thanks you ;-)
