Description: A simple GIMP Splash Screen, made to go with my OpenOffice Splash (http://kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=29737). Made by the GIMP. Using Everaldo's GIMP icon from "Crystal Clear". (Wilbur's icon is from nouveXT). Enjoy!
Install: 1) Extract the pngs. 1) Choose your favourite and rename it to gimp-splash.png . 2)Copy the gimp-splash.png file into the /images/ folder of your GIMP Installation (mine is /usr/share/gimp/2.0/) Done!Last changelog:
Could you make a version using the icon with Wilbur (the Gimp mascot) from the Crystal SVG icon set? It's pretty similar looking, but it would connect the splash screen a little more with the Gimp.
Thanks for responding so quickly! Unfortunately, I meant a different icon than that. The one I was referring to is located at /opt/kde3/share/icons/crystalsvg/128x128/apps (on my SuSE 9.3 system). It looks just like the icon you are using, but with Wilbur rather than the inkwell. (I'll be sending an email with it attached.)
Thanks!

The GIMP (GTK2 app) has it's own KDE spash Screen! Krita is feeling slighted right now.
