Hi, Great splash. I have one problem and i'm not sure if it just the way my system is configured or not. When the splash theme appears and each icon appears in turn in a clockwise motion, they all have black backgrounds which stands out quite a bit. Any idea how I can sort it? Thanks

Hello! When I tried to install the latest version 0.4.2, KDE says "could not load theme configuration file". How can I correct the problem? Thanks!

When it shows up, it says "ML:loginname" instead of my actual login name. Any way to fix that? I'm using Kubuntu, Breezy Badger, btw. Tks! Scott
Same problem here on Fedora Core 4-
Not to hard to fix this one, find the Theme.rc file for Vallerie (by default this is ~/.kde/share/apps/ksplash/Themes/Vallerie/ ) and open it up in your texteditor of choice. Find the line starting with "Label2", you'll notice it says ML:loginname, simple change that so it reads ML:USER:loginname and save the file. Oh, and thanks for the theme, incoherent it's wonderfull.

thats a pretty nice idea! :) i just wrote it down. if the MoodinEngine will ever offer such a feature i will implement it!
something like that is definitly coming. but think it would be better (and faster and smoother) to wait for stable working kompmgr

So, how do you get the text centered? I am getting left justified... thx, btw...this is very nice. I think the moodin engine is going to really open the door to great customizations.
sorry, i know this problem. its gonna be solved with version 0.4.1 of the moodin engine. i uploaded my theme way to early, since im already using 0.4.1. (which supports centering of labels) ill talk to moodwrod later this day. maybe he can release the unstable 0.4.1 for users who want it. if not im gonna fit the Theme.rc for manual placement of the labels. sorry again. more news coming later this day :) greetings inco
