KDE should automatically autoscale the icon down to your appropriate size. There are 16x16 sizes available but they really don't look much better than the autoscaled ones. The OpenOffice.org project has not released 32x32 icons. Perhaps the commercial StarOffice will have these. But if enough people ask for 16x16, I'll do it. I just haven't seen any demand so far.
