So I use SMplayer all the time. I love the new breeze icons, but SMplayer defaults are nothing like it. I like to have a consisten visual GUI, se here are Breeze icons in dark and light versions.
To use it: uncompress the tar.gz in /usr/share/smplayer/themes/.
Go to SMplayer -> Options -> Preferences -> Interface -> Icon set.
This is an SMplayer iconset, so its independent of KDE version or actually any desktop enviroment.
