Description: A Gaim theme that features Everaldo's kopete smileys, like memodude's set for Kopete at http://kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=6640
How to install:
Open up Gaim and get to the smiley themes section in Gaim's preferences. Now, open up Nautilus (Konqueror doesn't seem to work) and drag this file into the preferences dialog.
If you do not have Nautilus, you can install this theme by extracting this file into ~/.gaim/smileys. Then, fire up gaim and select it in the smiley theme preferences.
Note: I did not make emoticons, I just put them into a Gaim smiley set. They come from Everaldo's great Crystal 0.9 KDE icon theme available here and at www.linuxcult.com.Last changelog:
Version 0.1.1: Fixed conflict between heart and home emoticons. Based on Crystal 0.9 by Everaldo.
Version 0.2.1 Many cleanups, and new icons from crystal svg!
Absolutely wonderful...since I've started to use GAIM because Kopete was a PITA.
I know..calling Kopete a PITA isn't popular but ya know what. It docks onto the kde panel just fine and hasn't given me a bit of worry. So I use it.
And these emoticons rock.
If you like these emoticons, but use Kopete, there's a set for you too!
You can grab it at 'http://kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=6681'.
All the emoticons in these sets are by Everaldo and are in Crystal 0.9. I assembled the Kopete set, Chroma turned it into an RPM.

Gaim 0.75 crashes when dragging the .tgz in, so i've tried extracting it to ~/.gaim/smileys, but it still doesn't work . o.O
That's strange, because it works on my computer... does it extract ok? Maybe you got a corrupt download, or perhaps check your gaim installation :(
Would anyone like more icons, or maybe have the emoticon keycombos changed to fit each protocol?
sounds really good!!! continue with your good work :-)
Alternate install without Nautilus Just untar to ~/.gaim/icons
Sorry ~/.gaim/smileys :(

Glad you like it :-) IMHO, Gaim is still way ahead of Kopete ;-) (I couldn't survive without yahoo support)
