Description: This is a 'prototype' release of toolbar icons for the Cezanne icon set. It is still in the very early stages of development and is missing many vital icons, so can not be considered a full toolbar set by any stretch of the imagination.
I've been using it on my kde setup, mixed in with icons from various other sets and the arrows look simple and clear (which is the aim) - the bookmark ones, however, look a bit 'fuzzy' below 32x32. Comments regarding this set would be very welcome since I have not decided whether this style will represent the final format for the theme.
I am having a little trouble dealing with the .tar.tar extension. Tar seems to barf on dealing with any of them and I can't google any reference to tar.tar . What am I doing wrong?
hmmm...the file should download as a standard tar.bz2
you could try simply changing the extension to this (.tar.bz2) or download the file again. Then, from either kde or command line, you should be able to extract as normal.
The other icons are better IMO.
Maybe you should try changing the brightness of the arrows to be more like that of the paper clip, then it will make a more "polished" and light impression.
I fall in love with your icon artworks. Is a global package yet available or should us do the globale packaging work at the moment ... ? In any cases, congratulation, you are very talented. Just one little thing you should improve imho is the font of the main text in your "copying, licence,..." icons. Otherwise its quite near from perfection, keep it up !
[]! thank you for your very kind comment.
At the moment packaging of the icons has to be done by the end user. This is fairly straightforward: you can use Maitre's "buidlset" script (available on this website) to do all the work. Just read the instructions that come with the script.
A full package of the Cezanne set will be available as soon as the set is complete, which should be in 3-4 months time. In the meantime, please feel free to distribute any packaged set you create if you wish to do so.
