Description: Here are some navigation icons that I created with The Gimp for the Konqueror filesystem/web browser. Included in the set is a back, forward, down, up, stop and reload icon.
I'm sorry that I keep posting individual icons. I am going to start working on an icon theme soon so I appreciate everyone's patience.
Thanks for getting back to me on this. I was unaware that they were moving away from PNG format. Is this documented anywhere? It seems kind of strange that KDE is going alienate an entire image format and by proxy entire sets of wallpapers, icons, etc.

That's kind of an odd statement to make with no explanation don't you think? Why should I use Inkscape instead of Gimp?
He mean, that you should make SVN Files, thats the future. KDE 4 will only use this instad of PNG.
not SVN but SVG

Only for icons and a few other things. PNG will still be used. Check the Oxygen page: http://www.oxygen-icons.org/ Great icons!
You really should use Inkscape and develop in SVG, not Gimp and raster.
