Description: I followed the KDE Icons Tutorial, so I think these are pretty good, but, then again, I don't know, because I don't have KDE. Anyway, tell me what you think, please and if it works or not.
This iconset just needs some work to make it useful for KDE, that's all. The white bg needs to be made transparent and it needs an install file, like uh...index.desktop. But the BeOS icons are still kewl.
I'm looking forward to using these.
Until a couple years ago I ran beos fulltime, and I still miss its graphical simplicity and ease of use.
Icons of course aren't the same as a running the real-deal, but at least they can bring back a bit of the beauty of that desktop.
Thank you for uploading them. They will make a welcome addition to my desktop.
Notes:
Obviously, they had to be resized to their respective sized (48, 64, 32, etc.) and copied into /usr/share/icons/hicolor/64x64 etc...
How about...no?
I don't even have KDE, I converted these on a mac. That's why I was asking if they worked. How come they worked fine for sheean. You don't have to be so sarcastic.
..I'd love to do that for you, but these icons are from someone's Mac OS X icons and he hasn't created it yet, so...yeah. On a lighter note, does it work fine?
BeOS had some very nice icons, I'd really like to see them on Linux :D. Thanks in advance. However couldn't you use the NetPositive icon (that surfing thingy) for konqueror instead of that

Maybe "we"'re too used to aqua/crystal icons to use such an icon style like this ;)
...i'm too lazy to download KDE, but I like mac OS 9-X better. Still, I thought it would be something cool to try.
if you don't use KDE why do you make this icon set ???

I'd love to see the rest of the icons on that page converted over. They look absolutely phenomenal! Thanks for the initial effort, as well.

Sorry, I don't know anything about making icons for KDE. I'll try to improve.

How about making an installable version of it?

These icons aren't on a transparent background... so they're always going to show up with a big white box around them.
