Description: This is a massively improved variant of the well-known Gartoon theme, used by e.g. Edubuntu. Some work may also be based on the Gnutoon/Ubuntoon variant by reassuringlyoffensive.
The GPL license means that when you redistribute Gartoon Redux or a modified version of it, you must make the SVG versions of all the icons available. Icons without elements from the original Gartoon are also dual-licensed under CC-BY-SA.
NOTE: Starting with 1.9, the distributor logo is automatically replaced based on your distribution, so this version is identical to the unbranded one: http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php/show.php?content=74841 for an unbranded version.Last changelog:

One slight criticism --- the Ubuntu icon (top right main menu by applications) seems a bit pixelized on mine compared to the other awesome icons.
I've recently made the switch to Ubuntu and thank you for this icon package. I had a similar theme in Windows using Icon Packer from Stardock and I'm glad I found this great alternative package for my new Ubuntu.
This icon set is just as good as ever!
I found a few icons which don't work though, and they're all related to removable media (in scalable/devices). I've added in a few sym-links to fix, and these are:

That's weird, I see no pixelation on my system. Can you show a screenshot of this?

Thanks, I didn't know that those are recognized. Those fixes will be incorporated into the next version, as I've already pushed out the 1.6 release.
