Well, thruthfully, I store them in /max/icons/whateverthefileis.tar.gz (or a BZ2 tarball... but whatever. Pretty good desktop for a Linux n00b, huh?
Ya, the reason why it takes forever to update is because after a while it consumes so much memory with the images it doesn't delete (it hides them), it takes forever to update them even though they aren't showing up. I'll have this fixed in the next version which should be available tommorrow morning. Also, you'll be able to specify the exact icon directory in a configuration file that you want to get the icons from, since alot of people don't have them in /usr/share/icons/your_theme_here like my script assumes.
Well, the icon theme is this: http://kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=5057 The window decoration is Bebop for IceWM. And yes, I would appeciate an update of your slicker style. I also find that it updates itself way too slowly. For instance, if I open a new window, it takes 3 seconds or so fro it to start to appear there. Still, a very good fist version.
Could you tell me what icon theme you're using and where they are stored on your computer? I noticed that you don't see any icons next to the taskbar entries, and I want to fix it to work on all machines on the next version.
