Hm, took some time but I think it looks real .
I tried to copy Windows 2000 onto KDE 3.2.
How?
Easy. The Background is a simple windows-screenshot with the taskbar, the startmenu-button is just a button (the windows-logo) with some transparence. The other things are all some themes by kdelook.org ...

I definitely don't like the Windows desktop, but after all you've still done good work. This would be perfect for switchers who don't want to see any difference.
