Can you tell me how you got your windows to look that way? (with the apparent transparency etc) I searched for kristall but couldn't find anything useful.

Well, actually you can get it much more vista-ish without compiz. In your screenshots everything is blue, but you can make it much better with e.g. qtcurve.
