Description: My freshly compiled KDE 3.4 alpha1 from CVS. There are not too many changes but several little ones and there's one thing I recognised: It's working damn fast! Really! MUCH faster than KDE 3.3.2.
the applet handles are looking like they should ! that means, they looking integrated into kicker, this is really a good stylish improvement. KDE needs more enhancements like that, really. Maybe that improvement only depends on plastik-style ? that would be bad. well, next "think" should be invested into the "taskbar" menu, its tabs are not transparent, if kicker is set to transparent.

can't you show some of the new functions? this doesnt look any different from kde 3.3.x, exept for the wizzard.
and the speed difference might be your configuration. copy your .kde and other config files from your user account to the new kde config, and check if there is still a speed difference...
btw I'm compiling kde 3.4 alpha 1 myself, so I can check what you say :D
