Maybe if it was compressed as a zip rather than tar? I extracted it then compressed it as a zip, but installing that caused noatun to crash.
Hmm,
I created my own zipfile to and didn´t get any problems with noatun.
-Create an empty folder and save the .bz2 file in it.
-Enter this folder.
>bunzip2 26268-kipod.bmp.tar.bz2
>tar -xvf 26268-kipod.bmp.tar
>zip kipod.zip *
After you´ve done this, install the skin as described in the howto.
