Been following Poofys guide I see. I like it! Could you please advise where you found the icon set? I really like it. The background too for that matter!

For people interested, I've just confirmed that the background is Aero Grass.jpg from Windows XP. Not sure on the copyright, so unfortunately I can't link to it.
Well for one it has include a much much much more mature compositing engine, Kompmgr
For two, other that that, it doesnt make any difference. Nothing else has changed.

Why use Kwin for gnome ? that ridiculous

really nice... what wallpaper is that?? and how did you get the title bars and taskbar transparent? looks great.
