can please just post what you actually used to get your desktop look like vista? thanks manuel
Hi I will soon upload my theme as I get some time Thanks Abhinav
wow that's kinda disturbing how much that looks like vista....how did you get OOo to have the title "Microsoft Word/Excel/blah?" or is that ACTUALLY office? if it is, how did you get office running on linux? did you use wine? and what kind of hardware are you running on? because i cant seem to get the gnome vista menu to work at ALL. lots of questions, i know, but i like what youve done with it and i want to do the same (other linux heads, go ahead and flame me all you like).
Hi I am using Ubuntu 7.10. What kind of problem do you have with vista start menu? May be you should change your face photo from 'About me' in preferences and then start vista menu.(hope this solves the problem) I am running office 2003 in CrossOver Linux. You can install it through wine too(use wine 0.9.59). To get the XP theme for office install 'luna.msstyles' through wine configuration (winecfg). I am using a Dell Precision Workstation 360, 1GB RAM, 100GB HDD, Nvidia Quadro NVS 280 SD with 64 MB VRAM and Intel(R) Pentium (R) 4 HT (2 CPUs) ~3.0 Ghz. Actually many people don't like vista and even I don't. But I just like the theme. If you have any Questions feel free to ask me.
