Sorry but in this time I'm a bit busy with my job, so for now I exclude to release new features.
For what concerns sounds and images you can add yours simply copying the files in their respective folders. Take a look at the readme.

Great, I hope it will continue to develop. It does have a look-and-feel which I had never experienced before. Definetly worth a try! With this thing you want to sit down and write, write, write... Not sure it is suited for coding, but for just writing text it's perfect.
It needs some features though, like multi-window (if it could be called so), and an ability to load the music (and wallpaper) while working.
Anyway, when I saw in in my RSS feed for the first time, I thought: "A fullscreen text editor with background pictures and music? Useless!", but when I TRIED it, I liked it from the first sight. Good luck!
wooooooooooooooooooooooooow....
this is freakin epic! (probably because I haven't really seen anything like this before)
But could you please steal the syntax highlighting from Kate/Kwrite? If you do then I'll spend aaages coding in this...
PS: I would attempt to add it myself but I can't do anything till November because I'm supposed to be studying for my HSC..
A fantastic and unique program on Linux. I like it much better than Writemonkey under Windows. More background images and music would be nice. But what disturbs is that the keyboard sound is not so clean. It creaks.
Thanks, I am glad you like this application, you could add your personal backgrounds, musics and clicks by putting in the respective folders this is why I put only a few. Regarding keyboard creaks maybe is related to your soundcard. I tried on different PC one older and one relative modern, since a click is played on every key press if I have a speedy writing I found a sort of lag more than creaks on older system due to the big number of input for the soundcard I think. Instead on the newer system all goes well. Maybe you can try with different sound or in any case you can mute click sounds if you find it annoying. I'll see if I can find a more efficient way to play click for the next release.
greetings

do you still work on this? Can we expect further improvements and more features (e.g. change sound volume, more backgrounds). I really love your work.
