Description:So since beagle does include a command line program called beagle-index-files I decided I wanted a quick and easy way to view the files I have indexed. Simple Beagle-Search was born of this itch.
This product outputs the results of a query in one of 3 ways.
1. In it's own query window.
2. In a browser window (hyperlinked)
3. Both of the above.
**************
Requirements
1. Beagle (available as an rpm for MDK 10.1 don't know on others.)
2. Linux (This is a maybe because I can't test on FreeBSD etc.)
3. KDE 3.0 or better (tested on 3.2.x and 3.3.x but the kdialog commands and of course bash are on kde 3.0)
4. Patience ( It can take a while for beagle to index.)
5. I recommend you also install the latest mozplugger from mozilla (even if you use konqueror) as it contains mime action settings for non html/txt documents.
For installationa and Usage read the README file included.

0.3 This release allows multiple users on a single box to work better together as it creates a unique html file for each user instead of a single result file and the resulting problem with permissions. Minor code cleanup.
0.2 Initial release.

beagle is kind'a cool, altough I think KDE 4 will do better... at least, I hope so. maybe you can cooperate then in getting search to the KDE desktop. :D
