KHTMLScrub
Source (link to git-repo or to original if based on someone elses unmodified work):
This program came about from a simple request at Groklaw about a GUI frontend for html_scrub.
I started coding one up, but had problems making my program behave as I wanted it too. So after a couple of re-writes, I ended up implementing on its own.
Andre Eisenbach has kindly done an ebuild for all you Gentoo users.

This has got to be one of the most usefull apps I have seen since my coding days.
This is absolutely a great piece of work. Good job!
Thanks, Its good to know people are finding it useful.
Hi, I love the AdBlock extension in mozilla, and i'm wondering if your program could do something like this, or if there is a similar one ? Sorry for my english
No my program doesn't do that. I think someone else is taking care of this problem for Konq.
why don' u make it into a kpart so it can plugin into konqy but especially quanta+????
I'm actually working on that, been talking too Eric Laffoon about it.
How does it differ from HTML Tidy? Looking at what I found on the web, can you specify what tags to edit out rather than using standards only? Does that make sense?
Yep you can, set what tags, not just standard ones. The purpose is to remove unwanted tags, not tidy html mistakes (which is what html tidy does). Though I've though about doing that as well. Lots of features to add yet...
Could you make presets for Word and such? They put lots of tags in and tripple the file size. Could it replace those "smart" tags that only display in M$ software with normal tags?
I could certainly add that feature. Could you send me an example file, and I'll see what I can do.
