Gebabbel
Source (link to git-repo or to original if based on someone elses unmodified work):
Gebabbel[1] is a frontend for the famous gpsbabel[2] command line tool. gpsbabel converts between various GPS file formats back and forth. Gebabbel was written using Trolltech's[3] incredible Qt4 toolkit and therefore runs on Linux, Mac OS X 10.4 (both Intel and PowerPC Macs) as well as on Windows driven systems. It is not a replacement for the existing frontends but my attempt to learn more about cross platform hacking using Qt4.
Features:
* Free software with source code published under the GNU GPL. No ads, no spyware, no malicious code
* Cross-platform availability thanks to Trolltechs Qt4 classes
* Arbitrary amount of named presets to store your preferred gpsbabel commands. Example presets are provided
* Pasting of gpsbabel command lines into a line edit for easy preset creation
* Editing of presets via the graphical user interface or the command line edit
* Usage of built in (Mac and Windows) or an arbitrary gpsbabel executable
* Support of almost all currently known gpsbabel features
* Application prepared for easy translation to further languages. Currently supported languages include english and german
Further translations are wanted. If you want it to appear in your mother tongue, translating it simply is done by editing an XML text file. No programming skills are required.

As of 20070712 Gebabbel is available as 0.3 beta. It's the third release of Gebabbel.
Changes:
* Requires Qt 4.3.0 (sorry)
* Requires gpsbabel 1.3.3 or better
* Preparation for the upcoming 1.3.4 release of gpsbabel
* Code cleanup
* Internal rewrites and bug fixes
* Improved presets, completely i18n'ed
20070918:
* Fixed issue causing compilation errors on some systems
20071104:
* Ubuntu users report that the application immediately crashes when trying to edit the lists. There seems to be a weird bug difficult to hunt. For the time being, try the binary b elow. I compiled it with a custom compilation of Qt4 and it works very well. Link:
