Qapote has some similarities with the well-known LaTeX (even in the syntax). Obviously, Qapote is not designed for the same public. The people who want an almost-perfect rendering of the document, or to be able to do thousands of things inside the document, should continue to use LaTeX. The ones who want simplicity, can try Qapote.
