TinkerCell is a free and open-source computer-aided design (CAD) software for synthetic biology. Users can construct a biological network consisting of genes, promoter, proteins, cells, etc. and simulate the network. It combines visual appeal with flexibility and functionality to meet the need of users and developers alike. Users can add new functions through the C interface.
