looks like an interesting project to me. But what's not clear to me: is the account on your notestask.com server a free service..? I think the faq section will come in quite handy here ;)
also, is the server software also released as gpl..? It would be interesting to be able to run your own server.
Thanks for the FAQ suggestion - I've added it to the FAQ page. In short, yes, the online service is free. We'll be moving to an ad supported site in the near future with an option to upgrade to an ad free version. But for now, as the site is still under active development, it's without ads.
The server code is not available - though may be in the future. One thing at a time for me, and that's developing the app and website to stable release versions.
