Dude seriously, in the first screenshot, I can barely read what's on Amarok. Either get compiz or wait a few days more for Kwin 4.5, and user their respective blur plugins...
That was actually just a bad screenshot, because I was moving amarok over when it took, and my windows get more transparent when moved. It is normally not that difficult to see.

its not really a dock, it is the quicklaunch plasma widget, which i think is installed by default with kde
