What to do with channels, that don't want to be out into the playlist area? Some examples, of these are: - Radio 1 - Radio 5 (Radio 5 FM works though) - Radio 6 - Radio 8 FM - Atlantis Channels that can be moved into the play area, but that do not play: - Radio Aktief FM - Radio Amsterdam - De blauwe tegel - Decibel FM (but taking a long time) - Arrow Jazz - Arrow Rock - AVRO Ziel en Zaligheid Channels that when moved to the playlist keep the cursor as "+" - Achterhoek There are more, these are just some of them. Is that only on my instance of Amarok? If not it would be nice to provide a list with known working stations, and one that contains stations that needs to be worked on... Thanks for providing the station list.
I get Radio 1 - 6 to work with the following urls: http://icecast.omroep.nl/radio1-bb-mp3 http://icecast.omroep.nl/radio2-bb-mp3 http://icecast.omroep.nl/3fm_live-mp3 http://icecast.omroep.nl/radio4-bb-mp3 http://icecast.omroep.nl/radio5-bb-mp3 http://icecast.omroep.nl/radio6-bb-mp3 Is it possible to incorperate these into the Dutch Radio station package?
Found some more urls; uitleg: http://blog.3fm.nl/2011/09/18/luisteren-via-winamp-of-internetradio/ http://www.radio2.nl/dcoll/luisteren/ De streaming urls: http://hosting.omroep.nl/streaming:urls
Hi, yes I can look into all this. Thanks for taking the time. It will have to wait next week-end, as this week I am quite busy at work ;) Cheers,
Hoi, De concertzender (www.concertzender.eu) heeft een stel geweldige kanalen. Zou je die een keer kunnen toevoegen, Zou geweldig zijn. Bert
Hi, actually the Concertzender was already in the list. Only it seems not with the right link. I just fixed it. Please update the plugin and see if it works better. Cheers, Emile.
When running Amarok 2.3.1 with KDE 4.4.3 on Debian Sid, exceptions are caught when running the script. Unfortunately I am not familiar with using the Amarok console.
of course I mean 'Exceptions caught'
You are right, sorry for the disturbance. Here it is patched.
Thank you for fixing so quickly! Great plugin!
Thank you for this plugin! I was looking for a Dutch radio plugin for a while. The plugin works great! There are four things that might be improvable, to make it even better: 1) A few radio stations are missing, particularily QMusic. You can find these (and more) streams on: http://www.nederland.fm/script/zenders.js and http://www.radio.nl/portal/home/i.live_radio_luisteren/ 2) I first thought 3FM was also missing, but it is listed under "Radio3FM" under the R. Would it be possible to add a search field to the station list? 3) Perhaps its better to group the stations by the province they belong to or "national". Such a sorting would allow users to find their favourite stations much faster. You can find the necesary information here: http://edit.radio.nl/portal/home/links_en_info/001.links/001.radio/003.lokaal/ 4) The first space is missing from all names. For example "AVROEasy Listening" should be "AVRO Easy Listening"
I added some missing radio stations, unfortunately some weren't with suitable stream links. It is quite difficult sometimes to extract that link. in answer to your points: 1- I added QMusic and others 2- Changing the name of radio stations, as "Radio 3FM" into "3FM" is not a bad idea, but I know neither these radio stations completely, nor their real used names. I am not able to do this task. I will take me to much time. 3- Ordering them into regions rises the same issue. 4- Names corrected. You'll find here: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2604702/extract_main_dutchradios.js the source code that creates the station list into categories. One could use other categories. One could change their names. Could you do that if you have time?
How to install this? Should the files be unpacked in the Amarok apps directory? Should it be run? Or can it be imported from within Amarok? Looking forward to tips, about installing this. I gues it is simple if you know how to do it.
Found it. Just import the tarfile in Amarok.
Great! and Never mind. Enjoy!
