Description:
Chr-title-buttons

For those of you who would like window buttons that resembles those of Chrome's own desktop.

This is a full-HD-version: the windowtile-bar is larger so it doesn't look as small (basically a problem with most xfwm4-buttons).
new addition:

Added two variants: One that blends well with the Arc-theme, and one that blends with the Adapta-theme
See second screenshot:

There is a the original grey and a blue version
And (NEW) dark buttons.

Added two variants: One that blends well with the Arc-theme, and one that blends with the Adapta-theme
See second screenshot:

Changed the colors of the Adapta variant

8 Great work. Do you think you could also fix Firefox? I can see that , in XFCE, most applications' border is driven by the window manager (Settings > Window Manager). But Firefox takes its border from the main theme/style (Settings > Appearance). Maybe the Plano theme can inspire you ? (https://github.com/lassekongo83/plano-theme). Cheers

10 This is fantastic. Is it possible to use these on a Gnome 3.38 theme? If yes, how to apply?

Sorry guys, I copy the folders in /usr/share/themes but I cannot see the themes. Why?

mrx333

Or should I copy the xfce folder into an existing theme folder?

mrx333

Very nice theme, I like the larger XFWM themes similar to Win10 style. One thing I noticed though is that there is no left side menu button. One does appear on the blue variant, but not on the others. This unfortunately makes this XFWM theme unusable for me because I lose my quick pin action without the menu icon there. Can you look into why it's appearing on the blue, but not the other variants (the dark ones are my preferred).

Thank you! This theme looks fantastic. Is there any way to change to height of the title bar? Change to something like 30 pixel?

Looks a really cool idea, but... Tested all of your themes (ChrAdapta, ChrBlueButtons, ChrDarkButtons, ChrDarkVariant & ChrGreyButtons) on Linux Mint 18 XFCE, installed those system wide on "/usr/share/themes/", the only one that shows window control buttons is "ChrGreyButtons" and it only shows one button (See screenshot if you want to: http://i.imgur.com/7Pc1DWX.png). Besides, I know you designed this theme to be used on FHD dislays, but on a 1600x900 screen the title bar looks huge. Cheers.

If you want the themes to work from "/usr/share/themes/" then after you put them there set the permissions for each folder to be: group: your username; access: read & write; others: read & write. I use Xubuntu 17.04 and this worked for me.

hictio

Mhhmmm... Thanks, but I never had to do that with any theme I've installed globally on "/usr/share/themes", ever. I've simply copy the directory via sudo cp -R whatever /usr/share/themes/ And every single themes works A ok.

I also met this issue for first time. When I get "strange" problems with files I always check their permissions first. For copying the files & modifying the permissions I always use Thunar as root (sudo thunar).

However, with these themes the windows have no borders and therefore they cannot be manually resized.

ALT + right or left mouseclick?

account

Thank you :-) Indeed - holding Alt + moving the mouse while pressing its right button resizes the windows. Until now I only knew that I can move them with Alt + the left mouse button.
