Description:
this one is the best plymouth theme i ever made...

copy the loadlinux folder to usr/share/plymouth/themes
open the terminal and run the following commands

sudo ln -sf /usr/share/plymouth/themes/loadlinux/loadlinux.plymouth /etc/alternatives/default.plymouth
sudo update-initramfs -u

sudo update-alternatives --install /usr/share/plymouth/themes/default.plymouth default.plymouth /usr/share/plymouth/themes/loadlinux/loadlinux.plymouth 100 works on latest X16 ubuntu

Installation instructions:

  1. copy YOURTHEME folder to usr/share/plymouth/themes/YOURTHEME

  2. run in terminal:

sudo plymouth-set-default-theme YOURTHEME -R
