Description: Side (and sad) note: In contrast to Unix, Windows is very obsessed with marking my program as malware. Of course, it is not. You may have to add BusyTasks to the list of exceptions in Microsoft Defender Antivirus before starting it.
This program uses several command line tools to receive its input. Please read the manual (see files) before installation! Moreover, I'd be very grateful for any kind of feedback.
Isn't everything some kind of process? At least on a computer it is. So let's keep an eye on them. This program is a revival of my BusyTasks plasmoid for the KDE4 desktop. Due to several issues with KDE5 I decided to switch to java and give it one more chance to live and prosper there. It uses several programs to get its input. The collected data is neither unique nor new, but the idea to clearly sum it up in one single program is. This task monitor displays up to four different tasks, each with different priority. BusyTasks is only useful if it is always visible (e.g. residing on a panel) If you had got to minimize windows or show the desktop to have a glance on it you could equally start the system monitor. I recommend splitting up the taskbar, putting it in between and setting it up as a scheduled task.
The Linux version for java is outdated, I recommend using my KDE Plasmoid called BusyTasksPlasmoid. For the moment this program is only released for Windows.Last changelog:
